๐ŸŒˆPride Month at ACB+: A Concrete Commitment to LGBTQIA+ Inclusion in the Workplace

At ACB+, we firmly believe that collective performance is driven by an inclusive, respectful and open work environment for everyone.

On the occasion of Pride Month, we reaffirm our commitment to diversity by highlighting the importance of LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the workplace.

Our teams reflect the diversity of society: LGBTQIA+ employees, whether visible or not, as well as many allies actively engaged on a daily basis.

๐ŸŽฏ Why talk about LGBTQIA+ inclusion at work?

Inclusion cannot simply be declared โ€” it is built every day through practices, behaviors and company culture.

Today:

  • ๐ŸŒ 15% to 20% of the population is concerned by LGBTQIA+ realities
  • ๐Ÿค More than 40% of employees identify as allies
  • โžก๏ธ More than half of a workforce is directly involved

๐Ÿ‘‰ These figures show that LGBTQIA+ inclusion is a tangible and strategic issue for companies.

๐Ÿšซ Tackling discrimination in the workplace

Addressing these topics at work helps to take concrete action against:

  • ๐Ÿšซ discrimination, even when considered โ€œminorโ€
  • โš–๏ธ homophobic and transphobic remarks and violence (punishable by law in France)
  • ๐Ÿงฉ lack of awareness and understanding around diversity issues

๐Ÿ‘‰ Raising awareness helps to protect individuals and drive change in mindsets.

๐Ÿ’ก ACB+ actions for Pride Month

As part of Pride Month, ACB+ has launched several initiatives to engage employees:

  • ๐Ÿ“ฉ Participation in a webinar with Lโ€™Autre Cercle, a leading organization promoting LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the workplace
  • ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Organization of a webinar with the Le Refuge Foundation, a recognized public-interest organization supporting LGBT+ youth rejected by their families
  • ๐Ÿค Ongoing commitment in partnership with Dubuis, a sponsor of the Foundation since 2023

๐Ÿ‘‰ These initiatives are part of a broader dynamic supported by the Epiroc Group, aiming to:

  • ๐Ÿ“ฃ Inform
  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Encourage dialogue
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Contribute to a more inclusive workplace culture

๐Ÿ“Œ Participation is voluntary, but collective engagement makes the difference.

๐ŸŒ An international context calling for vigilance

In a global context where some organizations are reducing the visibility of women and LGBTQIA+ individuals, it is essential to maintain and strengthen our efforts:

  • โš ๏ธ Lack of visibility increases the risk of discrimination, harassment and violence
  • โš–๏ธ In Europe, legal frameworks provide protection โ€” but vigilance remains essential
  • ๐ŸŒฑ Encouraging visibility (โ€œbeing OUTโ€) and allyship is more important than ever

๐Ÿ“Š 2026 trends: a still fragile environment

According to the IPSOS x AFL Diversity 2026 barometer:

  • โœ… Visibility is increasing
  • โš ๏ธ Societal support remains high (~70%) but is slightly declining
  • ๐Ÿ“‰ Support for visible workplace initiatives is decreasing
  • ๐Ÿงฑ The overall climate remains fragile
  • โš–๏ธ A gap persists between stated commitment and real impact

๐Ÿ‘‰ These findings highlight the need for sustained, long-term action.

๐Ÿ“… Key dates to remember

  • ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Webinar with the Le Refuge Foundation
  • ๐Ÿšถ Participation in Pride marches

โœ… A collective responsibility

At ACB+, we believe it is no longer enough to communicate โ€” we must take lasting action.

Creating an inclusive environment means enabling everyone to:

  • be themselves at work
  • express themselves freely
  • fully contribute to collective success

๐ŸŒฑ Inclusion is a collective journey. Every action matters.
