New ACB+ Product: The Transport Cradle for BRH!

We are proud to present our latest product: a transport cradle designed for one of the largest breakers in the Montabert range, the V3500. With a length of 3095 mm at the tip, a body length of 2329 mm, and an impressive weight of 3281 kg, this breaker requires a support system that matches its size and power.

A Product Designed for Safety and Easy Handling

The client was seeking a reliable and secure solution to store and transport this massive equipment. As a result, we developed a custom transport cradle that meets their main requirements:

  • A safety barrier on the upper part, preventing access to the interior of the cradle and ensuring team protection.
  • A tilted tool base to facilitate the attachment and removal of the breaker.
  • A structure made of UPN beams, offering strength and stability.
  • Optimized cradle weight for easy handling and transportation.
  • Durable, blue-painted coating for enhanced visibility on the job site.
  • Lifting and transport compatibility, with red plates for practical use.

But that’s not all! We also received a second order for a batch of slightly different cradles, proving our clients’ satisfaction and trust. These cradles will be designed to meet their needs while ensuring maximum safety.

As part of the TELT project (Lyon-Turin Tunnel), we secured an initial order for six BRH supports, which was quickly followed by an additional order for 16 racks, intended for Montabert BRH equipment and Kemroc cutters.

This cradle is also compatible with the entire MB range of Epiroc breakers.
