The thumb is the ideal tool for landscaping work. It positions and loads rocks, trunks and branches very precisely. The kinematics retract it under the arm, out of the work zone, when it is not being used.
The thumb is of robust construction and is hinged on the beam-end spindle. Its actuator has a discharge valve, so that it moves away under the force of the bucket. This type of product requires a particular kinematics analysis for the working position and the stowage position. A specific reading sheet exists for this type of project.
